Hello @tahsinturan

Zorin OS is an Ubuntu-based Linux distribution designed with user-friendliness in mind, especially for those transitioning from Windows. They offer various editions including Core, Lite, Pro, and Education. The Education edition is specifically curated with software for learning and teaching.

Here’s a list of some of the apps that might have been included, though it’s important to note that the exact lineup can change over time:

  1. LibreOffice Suite: This is a full-fledged office suite, which is useful for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and more.

  2. GCompris: An educational software suite comprising of numerous activities for children aged 2 to 10.

  3. Geogebra: A mathematics software that combines geometry, algebra, spreadsheets, graphing, statistics, and calculus in one package.

  4. Klavaro: A touch typing tutor that is very flexible, allowing you to practice with your own imported texts.

  5. KTurtle: An educational programming environment that uses TurtleScript (similar to Logo) to teach the basics of programming.

  6. Marble: A virtual globe and world atlas that allows you to explore the world.

  7. Mnemosyne: A flashcard program to help students memorize facts.

  8. Pinta: A drawing/editing program modeled after Paint.NET.

  9. Stellarium: A planetarium software that shows a realistic sky in 3D, just like what you’d see with the naked eye, binoculars, or a telescope.

  10. TuxMath: An arcade game that teaches math, where you need to solve math equations to save your penguin friends.

  11. TuxPaint: A drawing program designed for young children.

  12. TuxTyping: An educational typing tutor for kids starring Tux, the Linux penguin.

If you have Zorin OS Education installed, you can always check the installed applications through the app menu. However, if you’re looking at comparing before installing, it might be best to visit the official Zorin OS website or forums for the most up-to-date information.

If there’s a specific educational application you’re interested in but isn’t included in the standard installation, remember that Zorin OS is based on Ubuntu. This means you can easily install software from the Ubuntu repositories using the Software Center or via command-line with apt.
