I’ve been running Zorin Lite 15 on an HP Pavilion for a couple of years without issues. I just installed version 16 and cannot connect to WiFi.
The proprietary driver is installed (Broadcomm 802.11 Linux STA ) but I can’t check the WiFi box in the network menu.
Can anyone here advise?
This is your Ethernet. You can find your wifi details with lsusb if using plug in wifi card or with
sudo lshw -c network
Can you please relay that information?
I resolved the issue by pressing F12 to activate WiFi. I have no idea why I couldn’t check the box in the network menu, but it worked anyway.
